Shop Review: Rich and savory, well-focused and nicely proportioned, with savory herb, ripe dark berry, black licorice, cedar, espresso and tobacco flavors. Full-bodied, ending with a graceful mix of tiered flavors and texture. Drink now through 2020.
My Review: Meritage is apparently America's response to Bordeaux. Firm tannins, with strong flavors of dark berries, black currant. Also, had a very cool aroma of pine trees. Nice experience.
